Will Star Trek’s Chris Pine boldly go into Green Lantern role?
Chris Pine has reportedly been offered the lead role in the upcoming Green Lantern film.
In it Jordan finds a powerful ring and is chosen to become the eponymous hero when the previous ring-wearer dies in a spacecraft crash.
Pine, soon to be seen as the new face of James Kirk in J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek, has featured in the names suggested by fans as well as in entertainment gossip. Others on the official shortlist for the role include Sam Worthington, Henry Cavill, John Hamm and Nathan Fillion.
