IT Crowd’s Chris O’Dowd joins Gulliver’s Travels
IT Crowd’s Chris O’Dowd has signed to star in a forthcoming film adaptation of Gulliver’s Travels.
O’Dowd will play Edward, the film’s principle villain and adversary to Jack Black’s Gulliver and Jason Segal’s buddy character.
Catherine Tate was also confirmed for the film, which is tentatively set for a 2010 release.
O’Dowd, who has starred in three seasons of the hit Channel 4 based comedy “The IT Crowd” will next be seen in Richard Curtis’ “The Boat that Rocked” and thje time travel flick “FAQ About Time Travel”
