Chris Evans Takes 1:30 TRAIN For Directorial Debut

Actor prepping directing debut.

‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ star Chris Evans is ready to step behind the camera, and has lined up the Ron Bass-scripted ‘1:30 Train’ for his directorial debut.

Evans will star and produce the project which has been described by Deadline as being in the vein of Richard Linklater’s ‘Before Sunrise,’ with the story focusing on “two strangers who meet in Manhattan and spend one night together as the conflicts in their own lives become the basis for their exploration of each other and themselves.”

‘1:30 Train’ will be produced by Evans alongside Mark Kassen, Karen Baldwin, Bill Immerman, and Wonderland Sound and Vision partners McG and Mary Viola.

Filming is slated to commence in the autumn, before Evans reprises his role of Captain America in the ‘Avengers Assemle’ sequel, ‘The Avengers: Age of Ultron.’
