Writer/director Robert Rodriguez has revealed, via Twitter, that he has cast Charlie Sheen as the President of the United States of America in ‘Machete Kills.’
The filmmaker posted the following image along with the tweet, “I just cast Charlie Sheen in #machetekills as the President of the United States! Who better?”
‘Machete Kills’ finds the titular anti-hero, a blade wielding ex-federale (Danny Trejo), drafted by the U.S. government to track an arms dealer (played by Mel Gibson) through Mexico before he can launch a deadly missile.
Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez, Amber Heard, Demian Bichir and Edward James Olmos are attached to co-star. ‘Machete Kills’ is currently in production.
