Charles Gibson directs Goblins

Terminator Salvation’s Charles Gibson to direct Goblin

Visual-effects guru Charles Gibson has signed on to make his directorial debut with the Geoff Rodkey-scripted family comedy “The Goblin.”

The Goblin revolves around a suburban family that moves into its new home only to find a curmudgeonly goblin who doesn’t want them there.

“It’s about creating a goblin that will appeal to audiences of all ages” commented producer Matt Williams.

Gibson won visual-effects Oscars for “Babe” and “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest.” He performed visual effects and second unit directing on the “Pirates” franchise and “Terminator Salvation.”
