Cast confirmed for Robert Zemeckis’ Yellow Submarine
Robert Zemeckis’ cast for the upcoming motion-capture remake of Beatles movie Yellow Submarine has been confirmed.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, comedian Peter Serafinowicz will play Paul McCartney, with Robin Hood star Dean Lennox Kelly as John Lennon, Cary Elwes as George Harrison and Adam Campbell as Ringo Starr.
The Beatles’ original music has been licensed for the film, while the music performance sequences will be based on motion capture footage of tribute band The Fab Four.
The movie is slated for a 2012 release.
