CANNIBAL Reteams BLUE CAPRICE Filmmakers

Up-and-coming filmmakers reunite for crime thriller.

Filmmaking duo, director Alexandre Moors and screenwriter Ronnie Porto, have selected ‘Cannibal’ for their sophomore feature, says THR.

While plot details remain under lock and key, the trade describes the project as a “surreal crime thriller set in the world of illegal organ trading.”

Adi Shankar and Spencer Silna will produce ‘Cannibal’ via their 1984 Private Defense Contractors banner (‘Dredd,’ ‘Killing Them Softly,’ ‘The Grey’).

You can check out a trailer for Moors and Porto’s well-regarded debut ‘Blue Caprice’ here. The film stars Isaiah Washington and Tequan Richmond, and tells the story of the Beltway Snipers, who in the fall of 2002 murdered ten and injured three in the D.C. metropolitan area.
