Cannes gets Basterds

Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds to premiere at Cannes Film Festival.

Quentin Tarantino has accepted an offer to screen his new film Inglourious Basterds at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.


Inglourious Basterds, which stars Brad Pitt, Mike Myers
and Diane Kruger, follows a group of Jewish-American soldier who embark
on a revenge mission in Nazi-occupied France.


The director’s World War II drama will have its world premiere during the prestigious French film festival, which runs from May 13- 24. Tarantino previously won the Palme d’Or prize at Cannes for Pulp Fiction in 1994.
