Cameron Crowe

Hawaii-set romantic adventure adds two more…

Bill Murray (‘The Monuments Men,’ ‘Moonrise Kingdom’) and Jay Baruchel (‘This Is The End,’ ‘Goon’) are reportedly set to join Cameron Crowe’s next, an untitled romantic comedy that has Bradley Cooper (‘American Hustle,’ ‘The Hangover III’) and Emma Stone (‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2,’ ‘Gangster Squad’) on board to play the leads.

The film sees Cooper playing a disgraced U.S. military weapons consultant who is deployed to a dormant base in Hawaii to supervise the launch of an advanced spy satellite as a response to aggression from China. Once there, he starts to discover himself and teams up with (and falls for) an Air Force pilot (played by Stone) to stop the launch. THR hears that Baruchel will be playing Cooper’s step brother.

Rachel McAdams, Danny McBride and Alec Baldwin are also set to star. The film will mark Baruchel’s second film with Crowe, having previously starred in the filmmaker’s 2000 hit ‘Almost Famous.’
