Michael Caine and Matthew McConaughey will join the cast of Scarlett Johansson’s heist flick ‘Brilliant’.
According to Caine, he will be moving on to film ‘Brilliant’ once he has wrapped up work on ‘Harry Brown’, a story of an ageing vigilante.
Speaking to reporters Cain explained: “I have Harry Brown. Then I’ll probably do a film with Scarlett Johansson. I was told yesterday that they have Matthew McConaughey as the guy. I’ve got go home and read it again. It’s a heist adventure film.”
‘Brilliant’ was first announced in 2006 with Barry Levinson attached to direct. The plot focuses on a jewel thief who works with a conman to score the biggest heist in history.
Gillian Gorfil and Elizabeth Shorten penned the screenplay.
