Bring your grandparents to see UP for Free

Celebrate grandparents day with a free showing of Disney Pixars UP

They’ve read you stories, bought you pressies and darned your socks and now its time to return the favour. Disney are sponsoring National Grandparents day on Sunday 27th of September and grandchildren all over Ireland will have the opportunity to treat their grandparent to an exclusive advance screening of Disney Pixar’s UP in Cinemas.

Each child pays the childrens admission price at their local cinema, while their grandparent accompanies them FREE of charge. It sounds like a good deal to us, and a very easy way to get into your grandparents good books!

From Disney Pixar comes ‘UP’, a comedy adventure about 78-year-old balloon salesman Carl Fredricksen, who finally fulfils his lifelong dream of a great adventure when he ties thousands of balloons to his house and flies away to the wilds of South America. But he discovers all too late that his biggest nightmare has stowed away on the trip: an overly optimistic 9-year-old Wilderness Explorer named Russell. From the Academy Award-nominated director Pete Docter (“Monsters, Inc.”), Disney Pixar’s UP invites you on a hilarious journey into a lost world, with the least likely duo on Earth. UP will be presented in Disney Digital 3-D in select cinemas.
