‘Short Term 12’ star Brie Larson is said to be in talks for a role in ‘The Good Luck of Right Now,’ an adaptation of ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ author Matthew Quick’s upcoming novel of the same name.
With ‘Little Miss Sunshine’ helmers Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris directing, the story follows the intertwined lives of four people, all outsiders in their own right. However, in the wake of grieving over pain and loss in their lives, they come together to form the most unlikely family.
TheWrap has Larson taking the role of “a librarian who believes she was once abducted by aliens along with her brother. She falls for a quirky young man who takes care of his dementia-stricken mother.”
