2011 thriller headed to the small screen…
‘Hangover’ star Bradley Cooper is teaming up with Relativity Television and Georgeville Television for an hour-long drama series based on his psychological thriller ‘Limitless.’
Directed by Neil Burger (‘Divergent,’ ‘The Lucky Ones’) and co-starring Robert De Niro and Abbie Cornish, ‘Limitless’ starred Cooper as Eddie Morra, a struggling writer who becomes a financial wizard takes to a mysterious pill that enables the user to access 100 percent of his brain abilities, but it also puts him in a new world with lots of dangers.
Cooper will serve as executive producer on the project, with Leslie Dixon and Scott Kroopf co-executive producing.
“[Limitless] has an organic natural extension into a compelling and sophisticated one-hour drama that is both a thrill-ride and a social commentary”, commented Georgeville TV CEO Marc Rosen.
Relativity CEO Ryan Kavanaugh added, “The story will transition perfectly to television, and we’re excited to partner with such a talented actor and producer as Bradley Cooper on the series.”
