Brad Pitt to produce Dracula pic “Vald”
Brad Pitt and Summit Entertainment – the studio behind the “The Twilight Saga” – is looking to bring more vampires to the big screen.
According to reports, the studio is developing an action-oriented take on Dracula titled Vlad, written by actor Charlie Hunnam.
Vlad centres on Dracula as a young prince; he is known to history as Vlad the Impaler, the man behind the Dracula myth.
Music video and photographer Anthony Mandler is in talks to direct the picture. Brad Pitt is producing with Dede Gardner via the duo’s Plan B Entertainment production company.
