Brad Pitt to Produce Adaptation of IBM AND THE HOLOCAUST

Star producing real-life WWII tale.

Vulture is reporting that Brad Pitt is set to produce an adaptation of Edwin Black’s New York Times non-fiction bestseller ‘IBM and the Holocaust.’

Published in 2001, the award winning book chronicles the true story of how computer giant IBM’s then-chief executive, Thomas Watson, formed a strategic alliance with Nazi Germany in. Using a punch card system the fascist party was able to sort through mountains of German census information to help identify Jews, Gypsies, and other ethnic groups deemed undesirable by the regime.

The project was originally set up over up at HBO with a script written by Marcus Hinchey (‘All Good Things’) but is now being shopped around to investors and studios.
