Brad Pitt linked to Sherlock Holmes sequel
Brad Pitt is rumoured for a sequel to Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes.
Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law have already confirmed that they will appear in the follow-up to the film, with Pitt rumoured to be playing Holmes’s greatest nemesis Professor Moriarty.
“The director, Guy Ritchie, loves Brad,” an industry source said, adding “He has worked with him before and thinks he is one of the most underrated actors working today. Guy knows that everyone thinks of Pitt as a pretty boy and can’t wait to turn him into the world’s greatest supervillain. It will definitely make the sequel a must-see.”
Pitt appeared in Ritchie’s 2000 film Snatch as Mickey the Irish traveller.
