Brad Peyton to Take a Trip to SAN ANDREAS 3D

Sadly this is not related to ‘Grand Theft Auto.’

Heat Vision is hearing that New Line cinema is in negotiations with ‘Journey 2: The Mysterious Island’ helmer, Brad Peyton, to direct the studio’s $100 million disaster flick ‘San Andreas 3D.’

Plot specifics are being kept hush hush, but the overall story is known to centre on a massive earthquake that hits California.

The screenplay was penned by Andre Fabrizio and Jeremy Passmore, with a polish by Allan Loeb. Beau Flynn and Tripp Vinson are producing with New Line’s Michael Disco, Sam Brown and Richard Brener overseeing the project.
