Berenice Bejo Joins THE CHILDHOOD OF A LEADER

Bejo replaces Juliette Binoche on upcoming drama…

French star Bérénice Bejo (‘The Search,’ ‘The Artist’) is set to join Robert Pattinson (‘Queen of the Desert,’ ‘The Lost City of Z’) and Tim Roth (‘Grace of Monaco,’ ‘Broken’) in the drama ‘The Childhood of a Leader.’

The directorial debut of actor Brady Corbet (‘Simon Killer,’ ‘Martha Marcy May Marlene,’ ‘Funny Games’), the drama focuses on the early years of a post-World War I ruler.

Bejo will play the matriarch in the drama, replacing Juliette Binoche (‘Sils Maria,’ ‘Godzilla’) who was originally cast in the part.

Filming is scheduled for November with Corbet directing from a script he co-wrote with Norwegian actress/director/writer Mona Fastvold (‘The Sleepwalker,’ ‘The Other Woman’).
