Kormakur may reunite with Wahlberg.
Variety is reporting that director Baltasar Kormakur is in talks to helm the graphic novel adaptation ‘2 Guns.’ The movie would reteam Kormakur with Mark Wahlberg, his star in the upcoming action thriller ‘Contraband.’
As previously reported, ‘2 Guns’ follows a DEA agent and an undercover naval intelligence officer who unwittingly investigate each other as each steals mob money.
The screenplay comes from Blake Masters (‘Law & Order,’ ‘Brothehood’) and is based on Steven Grant’s Boom! Studios graphic novel. Kormakur’s ‘Contraband’ arrives in Irish cinemas March 2012.
