BAFTA winners 2010

The Hurt Locker dominates 2010 BAFTAs

The Hurt Locker is the big winner at this years BAFTAs.

 

The Iraq-set war picture won for ‘Best Film’ and ‘Best Director’ prize for Kathryn Bigelow, along with wins in the ‘Original Screenplay’, ‘Cinematography’, ‘Editing’ and ‘Sound’ categories.

 

James Cameron’s Avatar won technical awards for production design and visual effects.

Other winners included Colin Firth and Carey Mulligan who won the leading actor BAFTAs, while the supporting awards went to Inglourious Basterds’s Christoph Waltz and Precious’s Mo’Nique.
