Back-to-Back HALLOWEEN Sequels Coming in 2020 and 2021

The saga of Michael Myers and Laurie Strode isn’t over. ‘Halloween’ creator and producer John Carpenter has taken to Twitter to announce that not one, but two ‘Halloween’ sequels are on the way. First up, ‘Halloween Kills’ arrives on October 16, 2020. We get the second follow-up, ‘Halloween Ends,’ on October 15, 2021.

David Gordon Green, who reinvigorated the franchise with last year’s ‘Halloween,’ returns to direct the back-to-back sequels which will continue the story of Laurie Strode (played by Jamie Lee Curtis) and Michael Myers. Green’s ‘Halloween’ went on to become the highest-grossing installment in the franchise at more than $250 million worldwide.

Green will direct ‘Halloween Kills’ from a script he co-wrote with Danny McBride  and Scott Teems. ‘Halloween Ends’ will be penned by Green, McBride, Paul Brad Logan and Chris Bernier.

Producers on the films include Malek Akkad, Jason Blum and Bill Block. John Carpenter, Curtis, Jeanette Volturno, Couper Samuelson, McBride, Green and Ryan Freimann will serve as executive producers, with Ryan Turek of Blumhouse Productions overseeing.
