James Cameron picks up a nod for Best Director, while Avatar wins best movie of 2010.
Avatar was the biggest winner at the 2010 Golden Globe Awards.
The much hyped sci-fi movie picked up the two biggest awards of the night, BEST MOVIE (DRAMA) and BEST DIRECTOR for James Cameron.
It was a night of surprises with Jeff Bridges winning best actor (drama) for Crazy Heart and Robert Downey Jr winning best actor (musical/comedy) for Sherlock Holmes.
The actress category was less surprising with Meryl Streep winning best actress (Musical/Comedy) and Sandra Bullock winning Best actress (drama).
UP from Disney/Pixar won best animation and best original Score.
The White Ribbon won best foreign language film.
