Atari’s Asteroids heading to the big screen!
Universal Us has won the movie rights to classic Atari video game Asteroids.
Originally released in 1979, Asteroids involved a triangular space ship fighting off rocks and flying saucers in an asteroid field.
As there was no storyline involved in the game, a plot will be developed from scratch.
Matthew Lopez (Race To Witch Mountain) is currently penning the script for the adaptation
