Arnold Schwarzenegger to Star in BLACK SANDS

Governator lines up another action role.

Arnold Schwarzenegger has wrapped his scenes on the action packed sequel ‘The Expendables 2,’ and is currently shooting Kim Jee-Woon’s action thriller ‘The Last Stand,’ now the former governor has added another project to his future slate. Deadline is reporting that Schwarzenegger is set to star in ‘Black Sands,’ an action flick that will be directed by Scott Waugh and Mike McCoy.

The Skip Woods-scripted film sees Schwarzenegger playing “a loner who wages war against a ruthless weapons manufacturer and his private army in the Southwest,” the tone of the film is being described as ‘Man On Fire’ meets ‘High Plains Drifter.’

Waugh and McCoy previously directed ‘Acts of Valor,’ an action adventure featuring actual Navy SEALs and blends real-life heroism and original film-making. You can see a trailer for ‘Acts of Valor’ HERE.
