Hopkins to play Hitchcock in upcoming biopic?
Anthony Hopkins is in talks to play the director Alfred Hitchcock in a forthcoming film.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor could take the title role in director Sacha Gervasi’s project.
The film will follow the ‘Master of Suspense’ as he struggles to get legendary proto-slasher Psycho made, focusing all the while on his relationship with wife and longtime working partner Alma Reville.
Black Swan co-writer John McLaughlin is set to adapt the 1998 book into a screenplay.
