The Gavin O’ Connor-directed thriller will shoot early next year…
Anna Kendrick (‘Into The Woods,’ ‘Happy Christmas,’ ‘The Voices’) is in negotiations to star opposite Ben Affleck (‘Gone Girl’) in the assassin thriller ‘The Accountant,’ says Variety.
Based on the 2011 Black List screenplay by Bill Dubuque (‘The Judge’), the film sees Affleck playing Chris Wolff, a brilliant, autistic bookkeeper who doubles as an assassin and “problem-solves” with precision in more ways than one.
THR adds that J.K. Simmons (‘Whiplash,’ ‘Men, Women & Children’) is also circling a role.
Production is gearing up for a early 2015 start with Gavin O’Connor (‘Warrior,’ ‘Jane Got A Gun’) lensing.
