Actresses set to co-star with Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Pena.
Anna Kendrick (‘Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World,’ ‘Up in the Air,’ ‘Rocket Science’) and ‘Death Race’ actress Natalie Martinez are in talks to join Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Pena (‘Gangster Squad,’ ’30 Minutes or Less’) for the gritty cop drama ‘End of Watch.’
Currently in production under the direction of David Ayer (‘Street Kings,’ ‘Harsh Times’), the drama chronicles the partnership of two LAPD officers as they confront marriage, love, fatherhood and the harsh realities of the Los Angeles streets. Variety reports that Kendrick and Martinez will play the love interests of the respective leads. Ayer is helming from his own script.
Kendrick will be seen next in ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1’ as well as the upcoming dramedy ‘50/50’ starring Joseph Gordon Levitt and Seth Rogen.
