Jolie and Besson to collaborate on new thriller.
It looks like Luc Besson has found his new muse. Deadline has word that Angelina Jolie is in “serious” talks to headline Luc Besson’s untitled next.
The film, penned by Besson, is described as a big-scale dramatic thriller with a story that is rooted in true scientific elements. Besson’s EuropaCorp production banner will co-finance.
Jolie, who last appeared opposite Johnny Depp in ‘The Tourist,’ has been busy working away on her directorial debut ‘In The Land Of Blood And Honey.’ The actress is expected to move straight onto Besson’s film, before she teams up with Ridley Scott on his historical epic about British aristocrat Gertrude Bell.
