Angelina Jolie is in talks play the wicked fairy godmother in a live action remake of Sleeping Beauty.
Tim Burton will direct the modernised version of the Disney classic; Jolie will add her star power to the project as famous villain Maleficent, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Jolie is currently working on The Tourist with Burton’s frequent collaborator and Alice In Wonderland star Johnny Depp.
