Ang Lee to direct award winning book Life of Pi
Ang Lee has confirmed that his next movie will be an adaptation of Yann Martel’s award winning novel Life Of Pi.
The story follows a boy who survives the sinking of a freighter and shares a lifeboat with an array of exotic animals.
“I think I’m going to do Life Of Pi,” Lee revealed to reporters. “A little boy adrift at sea with a tiger. It’s a hard one to crack.”
Lee added that the project is still at the scripting stages and he hasn’t started thinking about who will play the lead character, Indian boy Piscine ‘Pi’ Molitor Patel.
