Spy thriller locks in director.

Anand Tucker (‘Leap Year,’ ‘Shopgirl’) has signed on to take the director’s chair for the real life spy thriller ‘The Inside Outside Man,’ reports Screen Daily.

Scripted by Timothy Haas, the story follows Frank Foley, a passport control officer in Britain’s Berlin Embassy who went against his Government’s orders to work with opposition groups to overthrow Hitler.

Principal photography is scheduled for late summer-early autumn in Prague with Haas producing also serving as producer.

In a statement, Haas commented: “The movie promises to be an eye-opener, and I am delighted that Anand Tucker will direct this extraordinary story which has been many years in the works.”
