Comedy duo reteaming for new comedy…
‘Parks and Recreation’ star Amy Poehler is set to re-team with her pal and regular collaborator Tina Fey (‘The Muppets: Most Wanted,’ ’30 Rock’) for the Universal Pictures comedy ‘The Nest.’
The comedy sees Fey and Poehler playing sisters who “come home to find their parents’ house has been put up for sale, and then spend a last wild weekend together, bonding and feuding.”
In addition to starring, Fey will also produce the film via her Little Stranger banner, alongside Jay Roach through his Everyman Pictures. Poehler will take an executive producer credit.
‘Pitch Perfect’ helmer Jason Moore is behind the camera with the script coming from Paula Pell. Filming kicks off in June in New York.
