Amy Adams Offered TROUBLE WITH THE CURVE

Bullock out; Adams next in line to star opposite Eastwood.

Back in October it was reported that Sandra Bullock was in talks to play Clint Eastwood’s estranged daughter in the Robert Lorenz-directed baseball drama ‘Trouble with the Curve.’ Due to a busy schedule the actress was unable to take the role, now Variety is reporting that Amy Adams has been offered the part.

Penned by Randy Brown, the drama sees Eastwood playing an aging baseball scout who’s losing his sight and decides to take a road trip to Atlanta with his daughter to check out a hotshot prospect.

It is not known if Adams will take the role, or if her busy schedule will work with the planned shoot. The actress is currently in production on Zack Snyder’s Superman reboot ‘Man of Steel,’ and will next be seen starring in ‘The Muppets’ when it hits Irish cinemas in February 2012
