Amy Adams will reportedly play Janis Joplin in an upcoming film.
The actress will star as Joplin in a film to be directed by City of God helmer Fernando Meirelles.
The film’s producer Wyck Godfret has revealed that he is at work on several films including “a Fernando Meirelles Janis Joplin movie with Amy Adams playing Janis Joplin”.
Joplin died from a drug overdose in 1970.
