Amy Adams, Chris Cooper for The Greatest Muppet Movie Ever Made
Amy Adams, Chris Cooper and Rashida Jones have entered talks for Disney’s new Muppets movie.
Titled The Greatest Muppet Movie Ever Made, will be fronted and co-written by Jason Segel.
Adams is in line to play Segel’s girlfriend, who helps reunite the Muppets for a fundraising show to save a movie studio in danger of being torn down. Cooper is in line to play the evil tycoon who hopes to dig for oil below the studio, while Jones is expected to play an ABC television executive.
The film is scheduled for a Christmas Day 2011 release
