Actress circling thriller.
‘The Rum Diary’ actress Amber Heard has reportedly begun talks to play the female lead opposite Liam Hemsworth in the corporate espionage thriller ‘Paranoia.’
With Robert Luketic in the director’s chair, the film follows Adam Cassidy, a low-level employee at a high-tech corporation who funds a lavish retirement party for a co-worker with company funds and is caught by his boss. The boss agrees not to turn him in under one condition: he must infiltrate their chief competitor and steal information on a top-secret project.
Variety reports that Heard would play Hemsworth’s love interest, “an intended one-night-stand who becomes the key to his success as a spy when he learns that she works at the rival company.”
Production is scheduled to kick off next month with Harrison Ford, Gary Oldman and Lucas Till co-starring.
