Heard to star opposite Cooper in revenge thriller.
Amber Heard (‘The Rum Diary,’ ‘Drive Angry’) has landed the female lead opposite Dominic Cooper (‘Captain America: The First Avenger,’ ‘The Devil’s Double’) in the Albert Hughes-directed revenge thriller ‘Motor City.’
Scripted by Chad St. John, the thriller follows a small time crook released from prison who goes on a revenge mission, hunting down the people who framed him. While there are currently no details on Heard’s role, the actress reportedly beat out a slew of actresses for the role.
While it sounds like ever other revenger thriller made, the screenplay is well known for being virtually dialogue-free, containing only one spoken line throughout, although it is unknown if that will carry over into the finished film.
