Amber Heard Joining Kevin Costner for THREE DAYS TO KILL

Actress boards McG-directed action-thriller.

Amber Heard (‘The Rum Diary,’ ‘Drive Angry’) has landed a role opposite Kevin Costner in the McG-directed action thriller ‘Three Days to Kill.’

Scripted by Luc Besson and Adi Hasak, the film stars Costner as a dying Secret Service agent who decides to retire in order to reconnect with his estranged family. Variety reports that Heard will be playing a woman with connections to the Secret Service who offers him access to an experimental drug that could save his life in exchange for one last assignment. Costner’s character finds himself trying to juggle his family, his mission and the drug’s hallucinatory side effects.

As previously reported, ‘True Grit’ actress Hailee Steinfeld is also on board, playing Costner’s estranged daughter.
