Three more sign up for horror remake.

‘Chronicle’ star Alex Russell, model/actress Gabriella Wilde (‘The Three Musketeers’) and stage actor Ansel Elgort are set to join Chloë Moretz and Julianne Moore on the cast of the upcoming remake of ‘Carrie.’

The remake sees Moretz in the role of the hyperkinetic teenager who gets pushed too far at the prom and begins to exact a murderous revenge on all those who did her wrong.

Russell is set play one of the bullies; Wilde the role of Sue Snell (played by Amy Irving in Brian De Palma’s 1976 classic), and according to Variety, Elgort is taking the role of “a friend” who takes Carrie to the prom.

‘Boys Don’t Cry’ helmer Kimberly Peirce is in the director’s chair, working from a script by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa.
