Drector to produce project for director Shane Abbess.
24 Frames has learned that Alex Proyas (‘Dark City,’ ‘The Crow’) is set to produce the Shane Abbess-directed assassin drama ‘Future Perfect.’
Penned by Brian McGreevy and Lee Shipman, the duo behind the reboot of ‘Zorro,’ the drama appears to be in the same vein as Joe Wright’s ‘Hanna’ with the drama focuses on an older man and a young girl, both eugenically created assassins, who must go on the run.
Abbess, who was in line to direct ‘Source Code’ before Duncan Jones came onboard, previously directed the Australian spiritual action film ‘Gabriel.’ Proyas currently has ‘Paradise Lost’ and ‘Dracula: Year Zero’ in development.
