Al Pacino circles Dr Jack Kevorkian biopic
Al Pacino has been lined up to play Dr Jack Kevorkian in the upcoming HBO film.
Written by Adam Mazer, the scripts centres on the
construction of Kevorkian’s ‘Mercy Machine’ and the first assisted
suicide he performed using it.
The as-yet-untitled movie will be helmed by Barry Levinson.
The doctor served eight years of a 10 to 25-year sentence for second-degree murder.
