Affleck To Direct and Co-Write Solo BATMAN Movie

It looks like those rumours of Ben Affleck directing a stand-alone Batman movie are on the money, as Mike Fleming over at Deadline has word that Affleck is teaming up with legendary comic scribe Geoff Johns to co-write and direct a solo outing of the Caped Crusader.

The two have reportedly “found their rhythm” working together and are so in synch that they are likely to turn in a script before the end of the summer, prior to Affleck directing his long-in-development feature adaptation of the Dennis Lehane crime novel ‘Live By Night.’

Additional details are still under wraps but it is suggested that the plot of the solo Batman movie will focus on the character after the events of ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice,’ and ‘Justice League,’ the latter of which comes out November 17, 2017.

Courtesy of ComingSoon and Collider we have closer looks at the ‘Batman Vs. Superman’ costumes which are on display at Comic-Con this weekend.
