Stars set to team for gambling thriller.
Ben Affleck and Justin Timberlake are being lined up to lead the dramatic thriller ‘Runner, Runner,’ reports Variety.
The screenplay comes from ‘Rounders’ and ‘Ocean’s Thirteen’ scribes Brian Koppelman and David Levien and will be directed by Brad Furman (‘Cry Macho,’ ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’).
Set in a $30 billion world of illegal online gambling, the thriller will focus on the “increasingly tense relationship between a business founder and his protege.”
Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Davisson Killoran will produce via their Appian Way banner, along with Double Feature Films and Stone Village Pictures.
