Adrien Brody (‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’), Dustin Hoffman (‘Chef’) and French actor Alain Delon (‘Le Samouraï’) are set to star in ‘Patient,’ a drama that will deal with the Armenian Genocide of 1915-1916.
Set in a psychiatric clinic in Paris, the film follows “Armenian priest and composer Komitas, who after witnessing the horrors of the genocide, was not able to recover from the shock he experienced.”
Valery Saharyan is on board to produce. The Russian Armenian producer has enlisted ‘System of a Down’ frontman Serj Tankian to compose the score. The film has yet to attach a director.
