Amy Adams and Viggo Mortensen have joined the cast the upcoming film adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s On the Road.
The pair will join Garrett Hedlund, Sam Riley, Kristen Stewart and Kirsten Dunst in the film.
Mortensen plays Old Bull Lee, the character reportedly based on writer William S. Burroughs. Adams is to portray Lee’s wife Jane.
Motorcycle Diaries screenwriter Jose Rivera penned the script. The film will be directed by Walter Salles, reports Deadline.
