Adam Sandler Teaming with Chris Columbus for HELLO GHOST Remake

Pair team for supernatural comedy.

THR is hearing that Adam Sandler is set to lead Chris Columbus’ remake of the South Korean supernatural comedy ‘Hello Ghost.’

Directed by Young-Tak Kim, the 2010 original centres on a depressed man whose failed suicide attempts result in him being haunted by four ghosts: a chain-smoking cab driver, an old man, a young kid with an insatiable sweet tooth, and a constantly crying woman. In order to rid himself of the spirits, the man must fulfil their requests.

Screenwriter Karen Croner (‘Admission’) is behind the remake’s script. Sandler’s Happy Madison co-produce the project with Columbus’ 1492 Pictures. Miky Lee of CJ Entertainment is executive producer.
