Anchorman helmer attached to movie version of the comic The Boys
Anchorman director Adam McKay is reportedly in talks to helm a film version of the comic book series The Boys.
Nightmare On Elm Street director Samuel Bayer has said the film’s producers are eyeing McKay to direct the upcoming feature:
“It’s so funny, I would die to do that comic book. From what I’ve heard from the producers on the movie is that Adam McKay is doing it,” Bayer told reporters.
The Boys, created by Garth Ennis and Darrick Robertson, centres on a CIA black ops team that monitors all superhero activity.
