‘Act of Valor’ co-director Scott Waugh is in negotiations to helm the videogame adaptation ‘Need for Speed,’ says Variety.
The project is set up over at DreamWorks, and according to reports, the studio is developing the project as a potential tentpole in the vein of the Universal’s highly successful ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise.
George Gatins penned the script based on a pitch he developed with his brother John Gatins (‘Flight,’ ‘Real Steel’).
