A Rourkeless Sin City

Mickey Rourke ‘not interested’ in ‘Sin City 2’

Mickey Rourke has admitted that he has no interest in starring in a sequel to Sin City.

The actor, who played Marv in Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller’s 2005 movie, told reporters that Sin City 2 is “not a reality”.

He said: “No, I’m not interested in that right now. That’s not a reality right now. It’s pissing in the wind. There’s different factions going different directions there. I don’t know. That’s three hours of make up and I’m claustrophobic, so I’m going to have to work something out.”

Rourke, who had earlier expressed an interest in reprising his role in a sequel, can next be seen in Darren Aronofsky’s The Wrestler.
