OFFICIAL MOVIE SUMMARY
TRON: LEGACY is a 3D action-packed adventure set in a digital world unlike anything captured on the big screen. Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), a rebellious 27-year-old, is haunted by the mysterious disappearance of his father Kevin Flynn (Oscar® and Golden Globe® winner Jeff Bridges), a man once known as the world's leading video-game developer. When Sam investigates a strange signal sent from the abandoned Flynn's Arcade-that could have only come from his father-he finds himself pulled into a world where Kevin has been trapped for 20 years. With the help of the fearless warrior Quorra (Olivia Wilde), father and son embark on a life-or-death journey across a visually stunning universe-created by Kevin Himself-which has become far more advanced with never-before-imagined vehicles, weapons and landscapes, and a ruthless villain who will stop at nothing to prevent their escape.

Not my cup of tea but good luck to anyone who enters.

Really want to see this preview, I was lucky enough to see the Avatar Preview and that rocked my socks off ... this looks just as good if not better !

  • patmovies.ie

this film will be even bigger than Avatar does any know how long this film is.

  • Doomofman

Not a hope in hell that this movie is anything close to Avatar... It'll do moderately well... At the end of the day, it's pretty much a nerd movie... That's why I'm going to see it... To anyone outside of internet circles, I doubt it'll make much sense or have much appeal at all...

  • Clown-Assasin

This won't do Avatar numbers. But it'll do well. Even the score for this film makes my nerdy sense tingle. RINZLER !!!!!

  • andrewire

Would love to go but I can't on that date. I think Tron will have similar numbers to Iron Man.

  • ssconnolly

I entered earlier but now something does strike me about that date. I have a feeling something important is on that date.

WARNING! This is not the full film. When they say preview they really mean just a preview, they are showing only 23 minutes of it. Sure it is mentioned in the text but since this more like an extended trailer compared to the full screenings normally on offer it is a shame things weren't clearer. I really hope no one ends up disappointed.

This same screening (date, time, venue) was mentioned in the Free Screenings discussion about a week ago and you could register with Disney to get a place, there might still be some available that way too.

  • ssconnolly

It literally says all that on the competition page.

(Didn't mean to post twice. Seems I can't delete/edit comments like with the old system. New layout takes some getting used to.)

Sure this might be interesting but Movies.ie normally does such a great job offering a full film when they says 'Preview'. I had to double check the preview for RED just to be sure it wasn't a extended trailer too like this unusual preview. It is "literally" important enough that it should have been in the title and definitely not left to the small print.

This looks like a great movie, I have my fingers crossed
Movies.ie can I have the unlimited cards from cinemaworld - Seriously the best competition ever :)!!!!
